Docents:

Docents are costumed volunteers who give guided tours of the Dr. Samuel A. Mudd House. Docents must be a least 18 years old and must wear an authentic costume of the period. Docents must be a member of the Dr. Samuel A. Mudd Society, Inc. Docents are trained in the art of giving tours, and in the history of the House and the Mudd family.

Gift Shop Workers:

Gift Shop Workers are volunteers and must be a member of the Society. They are requested to wear an authentic costume of the period. Their purpose is to assist customers in purchases, answer questions and keep the gift shop in a neat and orderly fashion.

Admissions Persons:

Admission Persons are volunteers and must be a member of the Society. They should wear a dress shirt and dress pants. Since they make the first contact with the visitors they should be courteous and polite. Their job is greet visitors, collect admissions and to assist in opening and closing of the grounds.
